I do not generally put my mail address on web pages because of all junk
mail
you'll get if you write it out in clear text, so I write my e-mail
address like this instead:

AT |
gmx |
DOT |
net |
Just replace the AT with @ and the DOT with a "."
To confuse the spammer's search engines, I also put it all in different
cells in a table. It seems to be working quite well.
