VAX MIPS Benchmark

General

The benchmark to measure (older) computer systems' CPU (integer) performance is VAX MIPS (VUPs). I use dhrystone-2.1. The unit VUP means VAX Units of Performance. 1 VUP = the CPU speed of a DEC VAX 11/780 computer system.

As a comparison, you may want to look up some official numbers, too, in the comparison chars from DEC. There can be found through my FAQ.

Benchmark results

Currently I only publish a PDF document with some bechmark results.
