History and other comments

In June 2008, I purchased this machine from Helsinki. I also used to have a second DS10 - this page contains pinouts + information about the power supply unit in the DS10.

This DS10 came with an LSI Logic Symbios SYM8952U PCI SCSI adapter (DEC part # KZPCA-AX) and an ELSA GLoria Synergy 8 MB PCI graphics card (DEC part # PBXGK-BB), which are both compatible with Tru64 UNIX.

To improve performance for Alpha-Linux, I replaced these with the more modern PCI cards listed in the table above - please notice that these cards are (probably) not useable with Tru64 UNIX or OpenVMS.
