COMMENTS It's a CAD workstation with pretty good graphics capabilities. Unfortunately the original IDE disk is very slow for Solaris 10.

History and other comments

This workstation was picked up from a local Finnish company in July 2005. There is enough CPU power in it for a modern OS, however, in order to get rid of the most obvious bottle-neck, one would need to replace the IDE system disk by a faster SCSI disk. For that a Sun compatible PCI SCSI adapter would be needed.

This computer was traded for some Apple hardware in 2005, so I no longer own it.
