History and other comments

This computer was put togeather by combining parts from a HP 9000 735/125 and the HP 9000 735/99 I already had, in February 2007. I got the 735/125 with some basic options installed in exchange for some SUN hardware, so I consolidated all the best parts into the 735/125, while this box got all the low(er)-end parts.

Update in 2009: I got some more RAM for this 735, plus an external graphics box, the 'CRX48Z'. I took out the original 'CRX8' board and replaced it with the bus adapter board coming with the external box.

If you want to read more about older HP workstations or servers, I recommend going to www.openpa.net for more information.
