History and other comments

This machine was exchanged for a barebone AlphaServer 300 along with the AlphaStation 200 and the DECstation 5000/50. It's my second Indy, and it was shipped to me from Germany in late 2005. It performs well for 2D graphics and these can be really cheap today, but if you want some SGI computer with powerful 3D, look for an Indigo2 or Octane with a good graphics option.
